1984 by George Orwell

A big ball of eye opening depression! This book will leave a permanent mark on the reader. It is a must read!
The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey

Underwhelming and poorly written. The use of analogy and metaphor in the character dialogue is so forced and painful. The narrative is not compelling. The plot is full of holes. I don't actually care about any of the main and most of the minor characters.
I found the first book to be underwhelming, but I'm a finisher and had to read book two, but this was so very bad! In lieu of reading the third book, I read the wiki summary and the ending was as horrid as expected.

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood

The is my second Atwood book. Her stories sometimes require a little patience and persistence, but the reader is not left disappointed and always left haunted by the world and characters she's created. She's an incredible storyteller, one who can write an almost indescribable book that is historical fiction, science fiction, political and romantic. I am in awe of her and this book. I read this book after reading a review that said a synopsis is impossible, any true synopsis of this book would only ruin it. Just read it. Navigate the mystery and fall in love with it.
