This was so wonderfully spooky and scary. Was it true crime or was it some ghost or even a monster? This felt old school and I loved that. The legend that the kids keep laying out more and more gives it an eerie vibe. I had to take some off because I felt in the middle towards the end it just was a little overexplained and drawn out a bit but I still loved it. I debated on a full four star or not but I say give it a try. People body parts being sewn back together in weird ways. You can't escape the town. Who do you know who is going to be next? will it be you? Give it a try.

I was excited to get to this one after reading what it was about. Once I got into it I was enjoying it however, it did not stay focused on a current mystery element and instead was of a revenge. I wanted to get into the characters but I felt like something was not developed enough to really. I got confused a little. I liked this but did not LOVE it. It could be my current mood just not letting sink into the story well. I say check it out and see what you think.

This was a cute little romance. I did not like the slow build of the romance that much. I wanted to know about the boys character as well and it took a long time to kind of show us that. However the romance was still cute as it developed. I most loved the campy amazing race type of environment and the anxiety rep. I could relate to her growing up with general anxiety disorder. I liked how it showed at some point the thoughts and feelings you get with it. I like that it tells about that in a ya book because I had no idea not only that I had that growing up but also that there were other people going through it too and not everyone else thinks and feels those same ways either. I liked the book and thought it was good.

Pros: I liked the writing style, i felt it could be used as a good conversation piece with young people about relationship and what is not healthy.
cons: I did not like that it seemed like the only thing the characters had going on in life was each others. Other things happen in peoples lives. I also did not like that it was just about an unhealthy and childish relationship. Yes those happen to people in real life so that is realistic but I usually see it in peoples teens. After the sceneros happened a few times I just wanted something else to happen.
There things that kind of reminded me of how teens do back in the day and I was kinda wondering more about the friends and wanted to know about the world around them which I felt was left out more because of the focus on the main characters. Maybe they will show that in the series but not sure if i need more whole books to want to know.
The plus weighed with the bigger ...annoyed that this unhealthy repeating scenerio puts me i think at a 3 for me. I will give the second one a try to see if the other character draws more interest for me but sadly thinking it is not going to do a whole lot more for me. I need either healthier choices or more going on in the story. I do think it is a good point however to talk to young people about.
