i read this because a friend of mine wanted to and her bday is coming up so i decided to buy it for her and annotate dumb things on it.
i really really liked this book!! i had read rwarb (by the same author ofc) so i had some expectations and i was not disappointed.
this book is very corny and cringey at times but, it’s lovable and incredibly developed characters make up for that. thats something that i really enjoyed about one last stop, that every single character that is introduced has their own story and they’re not just there for the sake of the main plot.
i fell absolutely in love with jane and august’s love story. i think their relationship is developed amazingly.

first of all, jane austen is so iconic for naming a character after herself. second of all, i absolutely loved how present the main themes of the book are actually present (maybe this sounds dumb but im referring to the fact that they literally always talk about pride and prejudice yk?). something i also absolutely loved was the part when elizabeth realizes how she truly feels about mr. darcy. its just so amazingly written and i think thats what i also loved when i read emma so it was very cool.
one thing i didn’t really get was the whole mr. wickham situation?? i didn’t really understand how everything happened and it confuses me a lot. also i have a love/hate for mrs. bennet cause she annoyed me so much but she was also hilarious.
anyways, i can’t wait to watch the movie now that i’ve actually read the book.

UGH I LOVE THIS BOOK.
i love all the little dumb details but also how nonchalant it can be on certain situations.
