Ok so this was my first read from this author and wow. Lots of different emotions and now I want to read more historical novels. I gave it four stars because it surprised me how much I got into it I even listened to a few chapters in the shower on my speaker because I had to know what happened next. I fully recommend this book 5/5

This was a rough one but also beautiful in it’s telling of the hardships that people suffer.
It’s a short book but really grabs you

Well I definitely found a new author to follow. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down even with a napping dog in my lap. I will say sometimes it’s a tad slow but then it picks up right after.

I can’t wait to read more by this author
