Funny Story by Emily Henry

Emily Henry is an auto-read author for us and also rates high for us. We were both beyond excited to read this one! We liked it, but it wasn’t our favorite of her work. The first half was fantastic, but the second half was missing something (or maybe had too much).

Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez

This is a fantastic book marketed as a romantic comedy, but it is so much more. It is a love story and you will laugh, sometimes out loud, but the best parts of the story are the friendships and mental health representation. All the love is present in this book, but our favorite was the non-romantic love. We love how Abby writes and we love how she accurately portrays mental health.
