I’m going to be so honest but I really didn’t understand anything that went on in this first issue , I’m all for be put straight into the action but at least give me some context and back story so I can know what’s going on. Like who are the arcanics? And why did humans go to war with them? and what is lilum? So many questions that I hope will be answered in the next issue

Via I just knows how to write  good LGBT+ representation and I’m never disappointed by her books and I hope I never will be , plan to read more of their novels this year. 
It’s not like it’s anything spectacular but it’s still very enjoyable and some really good smut as well
Definitely recommend

This was a beautiful story , just a healthy Black lesbian romance no unnecessary drama or third act break ups just two black loving on each other unapologetically and I hope and pray to find that although their relationship did move very quickly which I guess is supposedly common lesbian behavior but I will never under that for real.
I would recommend if you need like a cute fluffy palette cleanser with a good amount of smut in it

First of this took me wayyy long than i expected it to and its not because its a long book or anything ,it just dragggg on for way too long and there is no plot!!!! like all it it is flowery prose that felt very unnecessary majority of the time. 
Secondly i unfortunately dont consider this book horror , yes there are scenes of body gore and the likes but there was nothing horrifying about this book, it leans more supernatural to me tbh and annoyingly religious and that made me dislike this book more because i didnt expect it to go the direction it did.
the first aprt was my best part tbh because at least then it felt like it was going in the direction that i thought it was but then we got to the second part and i was completely lost and was seriously considring DNF this book ngl but i forced myself to just push through since it wasnt really long.
i dont think Richard Thomas’ writng is for me so this is going to be my one and only book by him.

Why do monster romances always hit so different ?🤧 I saw this on someone’s fable the and immediately I had to get it and read and it really didn’t disappoint, Tharon is the literal definition of a cinnamon roll despite the fact he was forced to think of himself as the God of death ( he kind of reminded me of Hades tbh) and I loved the anxiety and grief rep from Ksenia as well everything was so simple even tho I’m not usually a fan of insta live but this was just perfect and just so entertaining and really helped me get into the groove of reading again , let’s see if I can keep it up tho with the books I plan to read this month. Definitely recommend if you are into cinnamon roll main characters also with BDSM involved ( he is what I consider a soft dom to be)
