This book was one of my favorite reads of the year. It will have a permanent place on my bookshelf and my friends will be very annoyed by how much I talk about this book. 

My sweet little paperback is full of annotations. I can’t wait to read more of Saramago’s work.

I enjoy this book as much as the first. It was a quick and comforting read. Mia P. Manansala’s world of Fil-Am food and mystery has become a great comfort. I can’t wait to read her third book.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved following a diverse cast of characters, it felt very representative of my own friend groups and family. I only felt bored once during this entire book, towards the end of the first act, but other than that i ate it up.
