Let me just start this off by saying that our main character, amy, was such an annoying bitch. I couldn’t stand her at all but I stayed for the plot. The start was pretty slow for me too and at different points of the book, it was either pretty rushed or dragged out which just wasn’t enjoyable. I also want to point out that most of the “twists” throughout were pretty predictable to me until right up to the end, so I’ve got to give it some credit for that at least lol. Yeah, overall I was just disappointed since I was expecting much more from a McFadden book. I’ve definitely read some of her better stuff and I still plan on checking out her other books. This one just wasn’t my cup of tea.
