finally started this. I wonder how long it'll take to catch up but I think I could do around 2 volumes a day since school is taking up most of my time. very brutal, messy and entertaining. excited to see what's next.

so incredibly inconsistent and lacking in everything that made it somewhat good.

Aaaand I finished the series.

I immensely loved all three books and in my opinion the ending was perfect

I can't really talk much about the queen of nothing without a few spoilers here and there so I'm just going to talk about how much I enjoyed all of them...

The cruel prince: ⭐⭐⭐⭐★
The wicked king: ⭐⭐⭐⭐★
The queen of nothing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐★

As you can see I pretty much enjoyed them all.

I'm totally gonna read more holly black. Her writing style is a total cherry on top.

The best of Charles Dickens I have read up till now. Each chapter is incredibly vivid and raw. The third book makes it worth reading the lengthy introduction.

I get the appeal but it's insanely dragged out. the premise is simple and there's no really deep meaning. cheap twists and scenes purely for shock purpose are what builds it up for most people but for me, it just breaks it down instead.
