Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Bregman

In a world of corrupt politicians, climate change, anti-maskers, all lives matters, and evil billionaires, Humankind is a breath of fresh air akin to crying in your mother’s arms after falling off your bike - it doesn’t heal your scrapes or guarantee you won’t fall off again - but it does give you the strength to keep trying. Thank you, Rutger Bregman, for giving me reason to hope instead of reason to fear.
