4.5 stars, really. A decades-encompassing story of friendship, love and existential crises set against a backdrop of gaming. It had me at the Gen X main characters, but I stayed for the world Zevin has created. The book has a lot to say about a lot of topics deemed political today that, ultimately, might really just be a part of being alive and human.
