This third book in the series was so well done, my favourite story was the lovers but all were absolutely perfect

A lot more juvenile than I expected it to be and the writing complicated the plot a bit too much, the city background and magical powers are pretty simple, but the author overwrote the descriptions and overall just confused me a bit. Interested in reading the sequel - hoping it includes more romance!

Love love love always, so much grief mentioned in this book I did shed a tear more than once! 4 stars as the travelling into the future story confused me a lot

This series is one I will cherish forever. Especially this book which follows closely 4 stories of those who are grieving after the death of a loved one.

The second story in particular (The Farewell) really hurt me, as it’s about a couple who lose their dog, but all of these stories closely follow the passage of time and the idea of even though we can’t change the past, we can change our outlook on life and overall see the brighter side of things.

This book is such a beautiful addition to the series, and hats off to Geoffrey Trousselot for the translation, I am constantly blown away by the language and descriptions of physical and metaphorical concepts throughout the series.

As somebody who regularly uses Bolinda Audio with BorrowBox, this audiobook was amazing and I’m going to need to read book 2 like immediately!

Of course the quality of the audiobook was perfect (I don't think I've ever found a fault with Bolinda Audio books) and the book was really well paced for me. I loved the pirate setting and Fable was a flawed but great main character to follow.

I didn’t honestly even know there was going to be any romance in this book and I think it was well introduced as the relationship blossomed in tandem with the plot.

I really want to read book 2 now, but I'm gonna need the audiobook honestly because it was so good to be fully immersed into this fantasy world while on a walk!

4.5 stars, thank you to Bolinda Audio and NetGalley for the ARC.
