This book really pissed me off I didn’t like how Pike made more effort in his relationship with Jordan than he did in his relationship with his son I tried this book to try something out of my comfort zone but I wasn’t really feeling it

Loved this book but I hated the ending I hated how Ryle got his happy ending. I’m my opinion Lily should’ve had him charged and locked up and taken full custody of Emmy, their child. I don’t know how she trusts him with her after he pushed her down the stairs, gave her a concussion, tried to taper her, etc and he literally told her that he blacks out when he gets angry, how does she know he won’t black out when Emmy makes him mad. Idk I just think Ryle got off too easily.
