The Alpha's Fated Encounter by Roxie Ray

This is the first book in the *Fated To Royalty* series. This is not a standalone. Each book must be read in order. It's long so buckle up!

Maddy is working late one night. She forgot to lock the front door when quite a few shifters came in. They tell her that her bloodline shouldn't exist anymore. Nico and his friends showed up just in time to save her. Maddy's blood speaks to Nico. She's human though. How is that possible?

I can't believe an ancestry DNA test caused all these problems. The fact that Maddy's blood spoke to Nico made me swoon. No one should be hurt because of who their ancestors are. Even though her wolf was dormant she was still telling Maddy that Nico is theirs. That diner scene was insane. It's awful that there's so much prejudice from humans towards shifters so there shouldn't be any between shifters. I will say that Nico is the sweetest person I've ever read about.

This is a great story. It could've been broken up into more books but I still enjoyed it. There were so many twists and turns I didn't see coming. This sorry is epic. The ending did make me angry. We'll see what happens in the next book. Here we go!

Hayley saves the future Alpha from drowning. There's something about him but she doesn't know what. While getting treated at the hospital Hayley even asks about him. How do you stop yourself from falling for someone when you've just gotten out of a bad relationship?

I love that Cooper calls Hayley "Princess". It's awful how Hayley had to literally run away from her home to avoid her ex. It's cute how Cooper could feel Hayley when she saved him but I feel bad that that's how they found each other. It is quite sweet that Cooper saved a little boy though. I wanted to smack Cooper to make him stay in that hospital bed. Hayley is definitely a powerhouse. Ethan is a sweetheart.

I really enjoyed this. I definitely didn't expect quite a few things. Definitely read this!

Marit has found her now ex-fiance cheating and goes right to work to talk to her cousins. On her way there she sees this big man that makes her stop in her tracks just with his stare. How can a person literally stop you with one glance? She doesn't know how but she's about to find out.

I absolutely love that Adam calls Marit "Kitten". I wish he used it more though. It wasn't enough. The fact that both Adam and Marit literally had to stop walking because they caught each other's eye is epic. It's sweet how Adam will always be with and protect Marit even if that means he won't become Alpha. Marit it quite sassy. I definitely wasn't expecting those twists. I like Annika and Liv.

Abby doesn't want a mate so when she finds hers she runs. She has the man of her dreams so why would she want some stupid magical connection to someone who won't love her for her. Maybe her mate can change her mind about what it's like to truly be loved.

The reason why Oliver calls Abby "Heels" is the cutest thing ever. I honestly didn't think any wolf would want to run away from their true love. The way Abby meets Oliver is definitely not the ideal way to meet your mate. I felt bad for Oliver because Abby had originally judged who he was without getting to know him first. Poetry night was definitely not what I expected. Playing *Never Have I Ever* has never ended well. I adore Whitney and how she always wanted to include Abby. The ending was absolutely perfect.

This is the easiest 5 stars I've ever given. I was smiling, laughing and I even cried. These two are adorable. Most of the twists and turns had me shocked. I loved every minute of this story. What a wild ride.

Rayne is the pack runt. She's the outcast in the pack. It doesn't help that she can't shift. Wilde comes home from school after being in jail to Rayne sleeping in his room. Wilde wants his dad and Rayne to suffer as much as he is. What happens when you can't stop pushing your step sister's buttons and slowly fall for her?

I feel awful that the kids call Rayne "Runt". I do wish that Wilde called Rayne "Jelly Bean" a little more but I did like "Rayne-bow" too. It's so sad how Wilde sabotaged his whole career but I'm so glad he did. How sweet is it that Wilde gave Rayne driving lessons (he even buckles her in) even though they were only to get the "burden" of driving her around off of him. The whole birthday scene tugged at my heart. Rayne sticking up for Wilde was epic. The ending was absolutely perfect. It's just what I needed.

This is such a good story. Very slow start but definitely worth it.

Harley’s ex is marrying her best friend Britt. Harley knows she didn’t really love him. He was just a safe option for her. No one compares to Britt’s dad Owen. Crushing on your best friend’s dad isn’t easy. There’s so much at stake. When Harley’s fantasy becomes a reality will she open up her heart or keep it locked away?

I love that Owen calls Harley *Ace*. The meaning behind it is so cute. When your making heart eyes at someone else and not your man that should be a sign that you shouldn’t be together. The ride from the airport to Owen’s house is definitely awkward. The fact that he took her to get food when she got off the flight is epic. Working out in the gym can’t keep his mind of Harley. Especially when he goes to take a shower and hears her in her room. When Harley tells Owen that he makes her feel invincible made my heart melt. Their late night bourbon talks are adorable.

This was a very good read. The plot was good and the spice was heavy. I will definitely be checking out more from Cassie. I love finding new to me authors!

Katie is going through her mail. In an envelope is a wedding invitation... to her own wedding. Attached is a one way ticket. Years earlier she told her first love that she'd marry him when they were 30 if neither of them were already married. Would you take the ticket and go?

I love Leo's nickname for Katie.
Leo calls Katie- la mia ragazza

The fact that Leo calls every night is the sweetest thing. The reason why Katie had to stop talking to Leo is heartbreaking. When I heard the story from Leo about how he went to find her I wanted to cry. I like that Katie has so much sass. She needs to knock Leo down a peg. I'm shocked at what Kaite does to get Leo's attention. I absolutely love how Katie knows how to speak Italian fluently and hides it from Leo.

This was an okay story. It's set up as a standalone since each book is a different couple but it ends like it's a cliffhanger.
