There were a few moments this book was just super slow and took me a while to get through (~1,000 pages!!). Also the main relationship was just extremely cringey.

It’s dark academia set in a fantasy world with a murder mystery. I still have no clue what’s going to happen in the second book and there’s still some mysteries not answered in this book that I’m honestly not sure I know the answer to. I love when a book can keep me on my toes like that.

THAT ENDING 🤯 that alone sealed that I will have to read the next book
