4.25 ★ - I think this is my favorite book in the series so far! The second half of this series has definitely been better than the first in my opinion

I’m just not sure this series is for me… I felt like I skimmed a good portion of it because it was very repetitive and easy to figure out the ending. I loved Once Upon a Broken Heart so I’m not sure why I’m struggling with this series. I still plan to read Finale to know how it ends
it was cute! it had a more complex story line than I was expecting with the addition of her sisters relationship which really helped the book not get boring
4.5 ★ - Really enjoyed this book! It’s rare when I enjoy both timelines equally. My biggest issue was at the end when we find out Elliot got r*ped/cheated (still not sure about that situation) and we just jump right over that. Plus they prolong talking about this and her dad for longer than was necessary
3.25 ★ - Usually I can predict how a book ends and I even knew there was going to be a plot twist… BUT I still couldn’t guess how this book ended. I got close but not close enough. Enjoyable read and introduction to Freida McFadden
I understand why I was told multiple times to read this! Love some multiple POVs, just wish it hadn’t taken me so long to really get invested in the characters

The emotional journey this book put me through…. I honestly don’t know what to do with myself now. Highly Recommend!!
wrapped up really nicely! more adventure heavy and romance is just a side plot
