I loved hearing the stories that were told and how everything was connected during the 1920/1930s in Chicago. it was an interesting time in history and one that I love reading about no matter if it's non-fiction or fiction.

I love the MC and death and how they interacted more in this one. It took me awhile to figure out what exactly was happening, and I did still have some questions by the time the book ended. But I do recommend this trilogy as it is fun.

Read this one for my library organization class. It was very informative, but also a little overwhelming at times when it came to the resources it made available.

This one just ended up not being for me. Each of the stories just felt rushed and incomplete.

Bespoke is a christmas novella. It went really fast and was a story of friendship and ow it can change over time when tragedies happen.

Code girls I listened to and I learned so much from this book. I will definitely read/listen to more books by this author in the future. The way they were able to tell history and make it interesting and not overwhelming is such an important skill.

Lost hours is the 4th book in this series. I just thought it was okay. This is a series that personally I feel like should have ended at book three. I feel like were getting the same stroyline just told from a different pov each new book now.

This was a buddy read with Misty and Destiny. I liked this book and was out of my comfort zone. I did find the ending a little unsatisfying with how certain things were wrapped up. However I will probably read more by this author in the future because it kept me entertained.

Before starting to read this series I had already watched the first season of Will Trent so I knew a few of the characters going into it.
Overall this story is rather dark and it gets dark quick and just when you think things can't get worse, they somehow do. There were a few times that I was very very worried for several of the characters because of how badly things were going for them and how dire it looked. I was not able to put together all the pieces of this mystery until right before it was revealed because of the twists and turns and then maybe this means something, and maybe it doesn't that I kept going back and forth on when it came to how certain people interacted together. I'm happy with the way it ended and I'm glad we did get a nice wrap-up of this particular case without any loose ends. I cannot wait to start book two and see what case Will Trent takes on next!
P.S. This one does have several trigger warnings that you might want to look at before you start this series.
