I really enjoyed the writing and the various narrators telling the story. The title and cover are about Medusa so I was expecting it to be more about her than it actually was. I understand her story is entwined with Athene and Perseus but some of the other characters I didn’t care much about and could have been cut down. Medusa had very few chapters of her own. I really wish more of the story was from Medusa’s point of view!

This book was crazy banana pants but I ate it up! Never read a book before in which every chapter ended in a cliffhanger and had my jaw dropping as all this messy drama unfolded. Hopefully, the Netflix show improves on a few of the storylines and it will be entertaining as heck.

If you’re looking for another ACOTAR, you’ll probably enjoy this. I enjoyed it but have a few issues with the pacing, info dumping and twist and turns. I am looking forward to the next book, especially to see what happens with two of the characters. ;)
