ARC Review
Thank you to Carlie Jean and Good Girls PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I liked this book. It had so many of my favorite tropes! I kinda liked that Theo hated football! I wanted more depth from the characters cause they both have such emotional backstories!

ARC Review
Thank you to Tales and Teacups PR and Sorcha Reagh for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really wanted to like this book. By the end I was starting to buy in to the story but it took soo much to get me there.
First, Emma's backstory as a lawyer wasn't believable to me. It could be because I am an attorney in the United States but I didn't find it believable that she would do 5 internships before graduating. Also, that first assignment felt very farfetched (although I guess it could happen).
Second, there were some tense issues. There were parts where I couldn't figure out if the story was meant to be the characters looking back on a past event or that the story was happening in real time with the characters. This brought me out too many times.
