This is my favourite book. The representation is perfection. It feels like talking to an old friend.
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell
I was disappointed that Vanessa didn't really have a true realization where she condemned what happened to her as abuse and disturbingly fucked up. I also didn't enjoy that she was manipulated so much by Strane to not believe women. It left me feeling really empty.
All in all, this was a good story but I wouldn't recommend it. It left me feeling too shitty.
