My FAVORITE Krewe book I’ve read in a while! This was a Bone Island mash up and I loved every single second. Bone Island is my favorite of her books and I think about the series often, so it was fun to be back in that world. I love when HG does Key West settings, it’s so atmospheric. The mystery was twisty and I was shocked at almost every turn. And Dallas and Hannah had so much chemistry. I loved Dallas and I especially loved how the narrator did the voices/inflections for him. Overall a knockout for the series.

Really enjoyable addition to my comfort series! I liked the horse farm setting and the mystery kept me guessing. I love the way this series blends history, paranormal, romance and mystery all in one. 

I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending though- I didn’t feel like Olivia needed to join the FBI, she was better suited for the horse farm. But oh well, that’s her algorithm I suppose 😂

This was a cute, fun, fade to black sapphic rom com. Overall I liked it, but it felt a little dragged out with not a lot of plot to hold my interest. I think I liked the side characters more than the main characters, which was a bummer. But overall a fun listen! 

I technically have an ARC but listened to the audio via the library instead!

I was a little stuck on the rating for those but I’m landing on a solid 3 because I liked this book, but no strong feelings one way or the other. 

I liked the premise (why am I into kidnapping romances???) and the atmosphere/tone of the story was perfect. The sex scenes were hot. But I didn’t like either protagonist. Nessa was annoyingly childlike and Miko at the end was TOO mushy and lovey for me. If he was supposed to be cold and unfeeling run with that, girl. 

Overall not bad, but not my favorite SL book.

I REALLY enjoyed this one. It was such a great exploration of what it means to do “the right thing”. I love the themes it tackled on the drug epidemic, the things we do for love, and the way secrets spiral. It was so tense and twisty, I couldn’t stop listening.

Really enjoyed this one! I’m glad I listened to the audiobook because Mary Jane Wells can make ANY story come alive. This was funny and romantic; I’m always a sucker for a cold Duke. I will say there was too much chatting during the sex scenes (pls don’t make small talk in the middle of sex) and I wasn’t the biggest fan of the heroine. Overall a good start to a new series! 

Technically I had an ARC of this, but I got the audiobook from the library instead.

I enjoyed this but I wish I had been a combo with Dex Files because there were literally pages of this just copied directly from that book 😂
