Sisters in Love by Melissa Foster

This book was okay, but there were parts in there that got on my nerves. Like, how quick a scene would end when it needed more emotion. Even the scene where he finds out his best friend has died. It ended quickly. To be honest. I won't be reading another book by her anytime soon!

Take Me Under by Rhyannon Byrd

I have so much to say about this book, but first of all I have to say that I did receive this book for review from Headline Eternal, it does not affect my opinion!

The book starts off with a prologue where Ben first notices Reese, it's an interesting scene and you easily get to know Ben as a character - His possessiveness, his need for control. However, I also kind of thought that his character was a little like Christian Grey and later on in the book you get a definite feeling that Ben was inspired by him.

My problem with this book was that the author was very repetitive. She used 'WRY' at least 20 times throughout the entire book and she also used ... over and over.

I, um.... I'm not sure. You should... maybe wait. (an example of my own)

And I got so frustrated with it. This isn't Rhyannon's first book, so she should know about grammar, etc. Not a fan, have second book coming soon, not interested in it either.

I honestly made it 30 pages in before throwing the book against my wall. I just couldn't get to the like writing, characters or the fact that they threatened to rape a child. Like, no! It's disgusting!
All Fired Up by Vivian Arend, Elle Kennedy

No. No, no, no, no, and no!

I absolutely loved the beginning, the writing flowed well and the characters interested me. But then the female protagonist, Lynn did something that just wasn't her. She has a three-some with some dude (who likes likes her) and his friend.

WHAT. THE. FUCK!?

I couldn't even continue on after that point. I hated it.

This book (if you can call it that?) left me feeling highly degraded. In fact I'm sure it'd leave every reader feeling degraded. It's sexist, badly written (somehow worse than 50 shades...) and so confusing that I don't think the author has any idea what she's even written on the page before. How are we meant to follow what's going on when the author hasn't done the same?

Read this book on Ibooks and I liked it. I didn't love it though.

The writing style was great, but there was something that annoyed me through out the book. And that was falling in love within a week because it's unrealistic.

But other than that it was a pretty sweet book.
The Selection Stories: The Prince & the Guard by Kiera Cass

I'm so happy that I read these 2 novellas because I've missed the world of The Selection. It may not be the best but Kiera knows how to write amazing male characters. If I'm honest though The Prince was by far the better novellas and should have been longer. The Guard was okay, but I've never been the biggest Aspen fan. Had his novellas focused on him and Lucy then I probably would've given it a higher rating.

The Prince - 4.5 Stars

The Guard - 3.5 Stars
