I got bored or the story, nothing was happening with either characters and sadly the sexual tension just made it worse.

You get two types of New Adult books; you get the well written, tension tingling, soul wrecking books like those written by Colleen Hoover and Abbi Glines. And then you get New Adult books like this; complete and utter garbage that you start wondering why you waste your time and money reading something that has that 'Wattpad' feel.

The characters were very flat and had no depth. Tatum was a complete bitch who clearly has some aggressive issues that need sorting out, she also has a mind equivalent to a wet mop. One minute she hates Jared, the next they're having sex and she's in love with him and always has been.

Started off really well. I loved our main character and her over large family. But then it crashed and burned somewhere in the last 40 pages.

Nothing special. Just your typical predictable New Adult novel. Originally I loved what I read of the sample from iBooks, the main character was feisty and would do anything to further her career but in a professional and classy way. However, she kind of lost herself throughout the book and that didn't sit well for me.

NEVER change yourself for a man.

The only character's POV I enjoyed was Cope's and his POV was featured very little. Honestly not a very good book. It lacked a decent storyline and dragged on and on and on. Oh, and Major acted like a peppy 16 year old the entire novel.

Like, dude. Grow the fuck up!

I honestly just don't care for either Cage and Eva. Their relationship was pathetic and I see no reason in reading their continued story in Book 5

These books do nothing for me, in fact I'm not a fan of Elle Kennedy's writing in this series which is weird as I love her Man x Man New Adult novels co-written with Sarina Bowen. For me these are way too cheesy.

I just don't think Violet and Luke's story is all that good, it's too dragged out and certainly does not need 3 books!
