This book came at the right time. I can see gifting it to others who may be wrongly centered on work as they identify.

It took me a while to figure out the narrator's voice. Also, this is the first book I can recall reading (for a long time at least) where the woman who had an abortion still did not regret her decision; a very interesting read. Bennett's writing style is like spaghetti in the way she weaves the characters and their stories/timelines together.
