I found this book enjoyable but also forgettable. I liked the characters and the plot, but was not in love with it. I will probably read the second one as well.

Okay I LOVED this book! The characters were so charming and loveable, the plot was well done, and the basis of the book was just so cute. This reminded me of TJ Klune's The House on the Cerulean Sea, but I may have liked this one slightly better.

Overall, a wonderful read. I wish I could read it again for the first time.

This was my first Brandon Sanderson book, and I'm glad I started with this one. I found the story to be unique, easy to follow, creative, and just overall enjoyable. It did take me longer to read this than normal, but overall I really liked it.
