Yikes. I can’t remember ever being more disappointed over the second book in a series. The first book, “The Match,” was phenomenal. There was a story, with character growth and interesting, unexpected moments. This book is just the fmc constantly ogling the mmc. Like, okay we get it—he’s hot.

Then there’s mmc being all like “I only teased her because I liked her.” It’s very junior high. They’re constantly tickling each other and playing silly pranks.

There’s not even much of a story. They like each other. Well, she’s obsessed with him and he kinda sorta always liked her after all he guesses. The dynamic is both silly and unbelievable.

The first book is one of the best romances I’ve ever read—this is definitely the worst. How did this happen?
