I don't rate books i dnf 3 stars but this is a special case I would have read this book if only Andromecha wasn't there, I would have ploughed through the book irrespective of her or rather hate read her chapters but I've done enough of that in the past so I don't have energy for that stuff in my life anymore.

It's really well written if I recall from my memory when I started , captivating at times but it wasn't doing it for me, I couldn't find a purpose to read this book other than brag about it, I wasn't enjoying it as much as I wanted to , and I don't want to read a 3 star 1000+ page tome, hence the conclusion, everybody is a douchebag except for the mute boy I think.

Some chapters were good , some bad , some tiring but had a quite a good time most part of it, the last few chapters were especially good, should've had more character deaths thou. I hope I can see a war sequence in the next book.
Had to take a break after the 60% mark.

Prologue : Shawcroft flees with Nail from the Bloodwood assassin's , the assassin's die and the boy(Nail) and shawcroft lives
Nail's friend Dokie is struck with lightning now he has a cross shaped mark on the back of his hand, he has a fight with the baron's son over the right to dance with Ava Shay he loses.
Nail gose Graken hunting he jumps in the sea to save his friend Zane and he encounters the Merfolk.
Nail encounters a Bloodwood asssassin again this time it was a girl with with striking green eyes.
Gault see a Helm that he thinks is the Lonesome crown in with the dead king of Wyn Darre, he also see's the Angel prince take a green gem from the dead kings horse the he encounters Enna Spades who is also a archaic bodyguard like him and also manipulative and likely had slept with her.
Tala is stabbed in the chest by someone in the shadow while in the secret corridor, while spying on her older siblings with her cousin.
6-15 Squireck won the Gladiator tournament, Tala was tasked to find the Red Helm Squireck won from the arena lest her cousin died, Jovan beat Jordalyn in a almost duel in the courtyard(I don't like Jordalyn), There is a Bloodwood assassin as the Angel pronces bodyguard and he is Hawkwoods brother and the female bodygurad is Hawkwoods former lover, Hawkwood won the duel with 4 Day Knights, In the day of the Emberlighting prayers Nail was not deemed to perform it because he was a bastard, Ava Shay kissess the Barons son and have sex with him betraying Nail(because she see's a greater prospect in the Baron's son).
16 - 54 The Angel Prince comes's to Gallows Heaven, They capture the villagers , Shawcroft then rescues Stefan, Nail, Gisella, Liz Hen then Nail leaves Ava Shay there out of spite(I liked that twist), Then Lawri becomes even more ill, Squireck is released, Jovan is gay (I mean why...), Leif is his lover it seems, Tala becomes an even more asshole, I like Lindolf, Gault have eyes for Ava Shay, Aeros(Angel Prince ) sleeps with her, Gault kisses her and Ava Shay kisses him back when Aeros was away but Aeros see's it, Nail amd his party meet with Hawkwood and Roguemore, Hawkwood and his brother are the two assassin's we see in the prologue, Spider and Baron's son and Gault are sernt to negotiate with Jondralyn , spider betrays Gault and leaves him there, Jondralyn and Gault have a duel, Gault wins I don't think he killed her(It would have been nice if she died her Pov are sometimes unsufferable), Then Nail encounter's the Baron's son and have a fight with the Axe but eventualy he lost after Spider enters the battle then Hawkwood enters the fray and Spider kills or nearly kills Hawkwood, Nail slaps an wooden log across Spider and he's unconcious, Nail have escaped thou, Lawri has changed after the potion Tala had fed her (and could Durfee for christ sake stop telling me everytime he see a girl she's beatiful or stunning it's annoying), The we get to Lindolf in the last chapter and he discover's that the Laijon statue has pointed ears that it is Vella or Laijon is Vella ......

I think this is one of my least favorite books in the wheel of time series. The whole noteworthy or exciting thing that happens is only in Rand's Pov and Of course Rand's Pov is the Best Pov and I liked Elaida's PoV quite a bit too Min is the Best girl and Faile I liked at first but now I don't care if she dies or lives and I'm not particularly fond of Mat either . The grey haired Isedai Cadsuane is quite intriguing Overal this was a Meh book it only held together because of Rand IMO

it was boring for a long time, Then all the Dragging Pov's . The only thing that come good of the book was Lan and Nyneave's reunion and Min and Rands Love affair, (Min is the Best girl).
The Ending was good.
