parts hits hard when you work in customer service and have social anxiety. shiraha’s character was and continued to be so repetitive though honestly would’ve enjoyed just listening to furukura talk about how much she loves working at the conscience store the whole time that was the best part

i can now say i have a favorite book. her writing style is so beautiful somehow she manages to weave in multiple metaphors, antidotes, scientific facts, and stories so fluidly. every chapter struck a chord with me unlike anything i’ve read before. yea just incredible writing and story telling i can’t wait to read more of her work.

i loved the feeling of this book. made me think about very abstract ideas and how small things affect my day. some of the small descriptions of things being forgotten left such a strong feeling with me i don’t think i’ll ever forget it. i usually, with any media, have a hard time finding something that sticks with me days, months, years later but this book has left me lots of small thoughts that pop up in my head probably for the rest of my life. beautiful writing, unique plot, beautiful characters yea i loved it. BUT i have so many questions that were never answered, i’m okay with it i think but MAN i really thought i was gonna get some answers eventually.
