I enjoyed reading it and its historical significance as the first dystopian novel ever written is undeniable. Some parts near the end were hard to follow, and I would have liked better world-building as I still have questions about how things operate. This might have been intentional. I like how it is narrated and how the character writing is aware of us, the readers and the book itself. The concept of it being a journal of someone from the future is interesting to entertain.

obscurity was not creepy personally, just silly. Interesting ideas, but wasn't for me.
