Enjoyment: 5Happy Release day to Hillary Raymer and thank you for affording me the opportunity to read this book as an e-arc.

Y'all, the way you need to RUN to go get this book IMMEDIATELY. I cannot even tell you how much I enjoyed this book. If you enjoyed book one, All the Chaos of Constellations, then you'll adore book two.

These books are like Bridgerton meets the Fae realm. A big family of siblings, ballgowns and intense love affairs, but with Faeries and magical creatures, darkness and destruction.

In book two, we follow Creslyn and Drake who flew off on his Dragon at the end of book one, being betrothed to one another. Y'all know I love me an arranged marriage trope.

Drake is the shadow Prince, bloodthirsty, morally black at times but so utterly lost for Creslyn, a Fae with sun and rainbow magic from the moment he sees her.

This book follows their intense journey through discovering each other, accepting the darkness in each other, and in the end, saving each other.

As you can see with the quotes I added to this review, their relationship isn't all sunshine and rainbows (you see what I did there?) and they do have a few disagreements where one moment they're in love and the next they're at each other's throats with a pointy object...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hillary should get a gift basket from the book community for the spice in this book ESPECIALLY considering it's a Romantasy.

You can look forward to:
 Him piercing her nipnops
 Shadow ridges on his peepee
 Shadow penetration
They do it on the back of a flying dragon
 Groveling

If you love an FMC who goes from weak to strong and independent, with a dark side she only shows to her shadow man, this is the book for you!

With new books, I never know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the writing style was to read and how quickly I was pulled into this story.

Unfortunately, it started to unravel about a third into the book, which is why I gave it 3 stars. My main reason for this would be that there just wasn't enough of this book.

Just about every aspect that confused me or bothered me could've been fixed by making this a longer book instead of a novella.

Throughout this read, I kept going back to previous chapters seeing if I missed something because this book needed more scenes instead of just referring to things that supposedly happened. Having extra scenes would've firstly had me not getting confused or feeling like something was missing, but it would've also added so much to the main characters' relationship and growth.

Overall I really loved Kelci and found her very relatable and M.E. Giggle did a great job in making her a lovable character.
