I'm glad I listened to TikTok for this one... 3.5⭐️...  3.75⭐️…  🤷‍♀️
I didn't have any expectations for this book. Of course, I had heard good things about it but you tend to hear a lot of good things on TikTok. But this book HIT! I was really into it and enjoyed reading it. I for sure will pick up and read the rest of this series, especially with the way this book ended!
So if a spicy serial killer book, where the girl is the killer and the love interest is an FBI agent sounds good pick it up. It was easy to read and really short! If you do pick it up make sure to check trigger warnings!!- that's super importer ok!!!
Overall, I recommend it!- until the next book!

Let's talk about it!
For someone's first-ever book, I enjoyed my time with it.
Was it the best book ever written... no, but it's for sure not the worst. Overall the plot was there but the characters weren't very present if that makes sense.
Our main character (the assistant aka Evie) was our happy sunshine character. She works for the villain if that wasn't obvious. Then our second main character (also known as the villain- aka the love interest) was the opposite (dark, mysterious, and evil "-ish"). To say that this book was supposed to be Grumpy × Sunshine is an understatement. Personally, the villain did fall a little flat for me, I just wanted more from him but we'll see if this changes during the future books.
I also think it's important to say this book was not a slow burn. I think it was meant to be a slow burn but they fell for each other SO quickly. I think it would have been better if the romance really took its time and showed the characters getting to know each other better. Again that is just my personal opinion and preference. 🤷‍♀️
With the way this book ended, I'm excited to pick up the next book to see what happens, and where the rest of the story goes!
My closing thoughts are, if you read the summary of this book and it sounded interesting I would pick it up! It was fun to read and I would recommend it if this sounds like your vibe.
Well... that's it! Until the next books!!

This book was low key good…
I’m saying this because every book I’ve picked up lately I haven’t been able to finish or I’ve hated.
Don’t get me wrong this book isn’t amazing by any means, but I got exactly what I was told I was going to get. It was short, spicy, enemies to lovers, knifes to throats, grumpy x sunshine, and it was giving medieval times.
(Man I’m really selling this book 😏)
All I have to say is that there were things about this book I don’t like. But in the end I had a good time so that’s really all the matters! So if you want, read it. That’s it. Until the next book!! ☝️🥰

I’m screaming!!! Not only is this book awful Goodreads won’t save my review so third times the charm!!
Don’t read this fucking book. When I tell you I will never get that time back I mean it.
These past few weeks I’ve been in a really bad reading slump and I though what’s a better way to get out of it then reading a spicy romance book to not only read something but to finish the story between this asshole and his always forgiving girlfriend…
Farrah girl can we please find a man that’s good for you. The way I was screaming “DONT SLEEP WITH HIM” is funny because we all knew they were going to do it. And of course she fell back in love with him. Also Blake being so sad when she kept telling him “one time to get it out of our systems”
🙄-kill me now-
Also the miscommunication in this book is triggering!!!
Ok I feel like I can’t keep talking about this book cause I don’t want to re-live any of this so don’t read it. 🫡👍
Well, until the next one ☝️
