Baby & the Late Night Howlers by Kathryn Moon

So many people love this book and over all it has good ratings, so I’m not sure if I just read a different book or what. I had some idea about what was going down in this book when I pick it up and from the very start I wanted to give it a try. This is not the type of book I normally read so I was going to give it my best and see how it went… I hated it.
I don’t understand how a book could be so boring. I didn’t hate the main character but it was hard to take her seriously with some of the stuff she was doing. Also her name was Baby.- hated that
The plot was kinda there, (after all the fucking) but you kinda know what’s going to happen. But it’s fine because it’s like two chapters of it then everything’s fine again.
Another thing that bothered me was how all the guys had like two names. Which would have been fine but there are like ten of them?!?! Like wtf, who is who?!?! I still have no idea 🤷🏻♀️.
I was ok with a couple of the characters, but with yk only 400 pages, you don’t really get to know them that well.
Lastly, there was so much spicy to the point where I started skipping. It was TO much sex. I knew when I picked it up there was going to be some spicy but My God. When it’s like every chapter with different people and girls just like (wow my life is so great). It was too much. I was so over it, I wanted some sort of plot. The only plot in this book was “How many times can we fuck Baby…” The thing is I love me some spice, just not in this book.
Overall- I didn’t like it. I might read the rest of the series because I know it’s about Lola or Lolo whichever her name is. But of course, we know nothing about her other than she’s friends with Baby. (Even though Baby is an awful friend and never checked up on Lolo-Lola to see if she was ok!!!)- I’m not going to get into it because it makes me mad. So ya that’s it, here’s the rant review. Hope this helps!- until the next book!
