Such an amazing story. Love the male point of view. 
I  can't readany further because rape is a trigger for me. If it was just briefly mentioned in the past, I'd be fine,  but she has been continuously physically assaulted by her abuser.

It has all the tropes and everything I loved from her TokTok series, but it also had so much more. The plot was perfect. I'm devastated that I have to wait a full year for the second book.

Oh my goodness, the family drama is on point. So accurate and inspiring. I'm in a similar situation to the main characters and this helped me to confirm I am doing the right thing and to ignore the gaslighting.

Best YA I've read in a long time. The plot was a lot darker than I was expecting for a "cosy fantasy". Please heed the trigger warnings listed at the start of the book.

The setting is cosy, the plot however is not. With everything the characters go though, it was too easy to forget that they're 16, until their ages are mentioned. 
I know it's a stand alone, but I would love to read a sequel to see how they're handling everything.
