Good addition to the series where we get to see Kieran one of the original Friday boys get his man.
I really liked Kieran. He was so stable and mature. He knew what he wanted and even though he was a bit embarrassed at not recognising Jason he never doubted himself or that Jason would want to see him. He stood up for himself when needed and never let the guys walk over him.
Jason was also a good character. I felt for him with his grief and guilt. Kieran was good for him as he let him talk it out without judgment.
I was wondering how they were going to get around the fact that they both lived different lives and I enjoyed how that was resolved.

Great end to the series, we started this with Paul and Simon and finished on their HEA Story
In this one we get to see what Paul and Simon got up to when Aaron and the crew were in Washington. I found it interesting to see events from Simon and Paul's side when Aaron was injured, how they reacted and reaction of the rest of the pack that wasn't with them.
It was at times sad and showed the difference between some of the packs, the compassion of one and the total callousness of another. Paul's mentor Doc was fabulous and you can see where he learnt his caring manner from.

Audio Review
Fabulous end to the series. It was action packed throughout and each time the team looked like they were stuck in a corner they came out punching.
It had a return of all the gods that have appeared throughout and it was highlight seeing some of them, many fought hard for their side, while others just turned up when there was little to do.
A big shout out to Gary Furlong. With a cast of thousands here he still managed to kept everyone's voices, which is always a battle in audio, but whenever someone spoke I could tell who it was. He had me alternating between crying at parts to laughing out loud like a loon at some of the antics. Well done for a great series
I did want to know more about some of the side characters. Nadine for one, but maybe it will come out more in Spencer's book

I've struggled this year with my concentration and have found myself getting easily distracted and meandering off to do other things as not many books have kept my attention. Before starting this one debated whether to read it or read something else as the last two books, while I enjoyed them didn't fully keep my attention, I'm glad I decided to keep going as this one hooked me and I had no problems with distractions.
I loved Rory and Nikolai. Both had been through so much and both of their actions had resulted in them being apart. Nikolai wasn't the only one to blame and Rory made sure to let him know that. I felt so much for Rory. He really isolated himself and I liked the way the guys all treated him when he was brought in.
The way the story was worked around everything else happening worked for me, I think that helped to keep my attention as there was so much going on.

I enjoyed this one.
I really liked how Dylan and Alex were with each other. They didn't rush things. It was made harder Dylan not knowing he was a wolf and having to be taught all about it.
I said in the last one that I didn't like the way the packs were and how Aaron basically told Brandt he had to join the pack or leave. That resolve was tested here as Alex and Dylan made their own pack and the way they were was very different from the others. Alex was not alpha material but then Dylan didnt mind him being his alpha. I liked the way Aaron gave them time to work it out and didn't push them too much. He knew Dylan couldn't submit to him so a solution was made. I felt for both of them as they had to give up their families but that way they were safe together.
It was interesting to see what had made the wolves come out and how that was handled.

Great addition to the series
I feel like Patrick gets himself into situations that look like there is no escape from and then the fun starts listening to the way it works itself out
The gods in this series always surprise me with how blasé they are with Patrick and just how much pain he goes through. There is no care from either side about him, Only so long as it fits their agenda.
Jono and the pack are the only ones that stick by him regardless of what he can do for them.
Loved the introduction of the newer gods.
Can't wait to see where this all ends

I like that this series differs from other usual werewolf books in the fact that Aaron is very resistant to his pack being the "gay" pack and is not prepared to take on any wolf who turns up looking for a new pack, regardless of if they are gay or not. The wolves all have to go through a process with the rest of the pack and check thru fit first.
I also like that Aaron and Zach are not out to everyone. They are starting to trust more people and some just worked it out for themselves but they mainly keep it behind closed doors, and they are both open with each other that they struggle sometimes with the limits of this.
I enjoyed Cort. At the start I wasn't sure what to make of him but he will be an interesting addition to the pack.

I liked this one. There are a number of storylines that are running here and I enjoyed that not one was just written off as a quick fix and not all was wrapped up in the HEA bow at the end. The guys are happy in a way that works for them, they both know how the other feels even if they are not open with the outside world.
Zach's alcoholism was one of these storylines. It wasn't just dealt with at the start and then miraculously disappear due to his being a werewolf. He is constantly struggling with the need and want to drink and throughout the book.
Also the power imbalance between Aaron and Zach was another. This could have been thought of once and then never mentioned again once they were together but a lot like Zach's alcoholism it is constantly on Aaron's mind in every interaction with Zach so he ever vigilant not to use his power against him. I thought at the start that the author may have been writing herself into a corner here but it was handled in a way that worked for me.
I also liked the way that while Aaron knew what needed to be done both politically and for the good of the wolves in general when it came down to it, it wasn't that black and white and he struggled with going through with the plan.
I think Zach had the best character arc here. His growth from frightened teen to confident man was great to witness.

Great start to the series
This wolfs are not the cuddly kind. Their world is brutal at times and I liked that.
I enjoyed how Paul didn't just fall into line when he and Simon got together. He still had his opinions and they didn't always line up with the way the pack thought.
I did think he was a bit stupid to be looking up werewolfs on the work computer knowing that they
had just cleaned all traces of Simon from the vet practice so they could hide from the pack.
I have read this series when it was first released but I honestly don't remember a lot from it so Interested to see where it heads

Good follow up to the series
I liked Daniel and how patient he was with Luke. Luke has his issues especially seeing his worth and Daniel just pushed him when needed but also let him work his way to it.
The bond between the friend group is great to read
