Wasn't for me. The revealing of information early on and then treating that as a shock twist was just a baffling editorial decision. The stakes were too low. Could not engage or connect with the characters at all.

This is easily one of the best books I've read this year. The fast pace and snappy writing effortlessly bridges the two hundred year gap between the main characters. Intriguing and mysterious, I devoured it in one go.
