Honestly I liked the screenplay within the book way more than the book itself. I was just so annoyed by reading a physical copy of a book that broke the fourth wall multiple times by referring to itself as an audiobook. Like, I guess the physical book readers don't matter? Could an editor not have replaced the instances of "audiobook" with simply "book" for the millions of physical copies that were released? It seems like such a weird oversight.
I also just got so bored of all the unnecessary horror movie name-drops. Like, we get it Paul, you were into horror movies in the 90's, you don't need to bring up Evil Dead every other paragraph. It's also not even remotely scary. Anyway, I was going to give this 3 stars but I just talked myself out of half a star. It's dumb, don't bother.
