Surprisingly hilarious. I was expecting an angry takedown of a cruel mother, but what I got was a nuanced and heartbreaking story of mental illness and recovery. It’s sad to think someone who made so many people happy was actually in pain, but I’m so glad she gets to tell her story and live her life in her own terms.

Sometimes something as absurd as a story like this needs to be told. We all just want to fit in and be normal, but at what cost…
