The book had a very strong start, but it fell flat. I was very interested at first but there was so much rambling/description and life story that was entirely unnecessary. It made it impossible to read more than one or two chapters at a time, let alone want to read the book.

Absolutely terrible. I think the story overall could have been good but it felt like it didn’t move at all. It was boring. And the writing itself drove me insane. Where are the quotation marks?!
