one long car chase with incredibly low stakes once you find out everyone’s invulnerable, for some reason. boring characters + copaganda. easy to read at least!

this was so boring it felt like I lost several years of my life before reaching the end. there was certainly potential in the premise, but the delivery was so excruciating it was like listening to shakespeares hamlet retold by my 6 year old nephew with ADHD.

I would have felt so seen if I read this as a teenager. As an adult however, I need a little more decisive plot to end the novel (and reassure me that these poor kids will suffer no longer)

Would LOVE to listen to Universe City irl
