So fun and cute. I liked how the past bullying experience was handled, and not just swept under the rug. It was acknowledged and both MCs became better later on despite it.
I love when past nerdy quiet types become in positions of power later in life and can say f u im great now to their past.
Parker was a sweetheart. He was anxious and introverted, and simply lonely.
Connor was an overprotective big brother who took on too many responsibilities he assumed he needed to.
I think Parker settled him in ways, and I think Connor brought excitement into Parker’s life. A nice medley.

This unfortunately fell flat. I didn’t connect with either character, and I didn’t get any chemistry.
Quite unfortunate as I enjoyed the previous 2 books, but this one I felt quite bored for over 50% of it.
There were good moments, but overall i didn’t love.
I couldn’t even put my finger on what exactly was missing, but there were too many plot holes and time jumps for me to really give this a fair shot.

Being a 22 year old “nanny” to an 18 year old didn’t make sense to me.
Either did Piper enjoying wearing Tyler’s old sweaty workout shirts that smelt.
The found family in this series is great; and I liked most of the characters. Tyler was a total simp for Piper.
Just slightly missed the mark.
Also a LOT of the teammates being a little too obsessed with Tyler’s sister. Interested to see how that pans out in future books.

Ok who knew this spicy AF MMM romance would be so dang sweet!!!
I’ve been looking forward to Ben’s story for quite some time and it exceeded expectations.
Both of Ben’s love interests were his dad’s best friend, and they all work together.
He was seeing each of them separately, and then when all 3 finally got together it was fireworks.
Ben is suuuuuch a sex slut and we love that for him. He was needy and Cash and Ford worked damn hard to keep their man satisfied.

This was soooooo good. So many amazing tropes so SO PERFECTLY
Childhood best friends. Brothers best friend. Roommates. Workplace colleagues. Dating/sex coach. Reformed player.
Obsessed. Seriously enthralled with this author and universe she’s creating.
Mia was a perfect teacher and cared about her students and school so much, but often overlooked in her personal and family life.
Elias is her brothers best friend, and her roommate. They grew up together. He is a player, but only have flings with blonde. (Coincidence that Mia is blonde?? I think not).
Their attraction to each other wasn’t really something that was pined over, it kind was like oh. Ok. He’s here. She’s here. She has boobs. He has a dick, plus a dimple??? No chance at fighting it.
Mia had big feelings and passions and ideas, and we love a complicated woman.

Some advice - don’t try to sneaky read this when at work because you WILL start ugly crying and it will be a thing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was SOBBING. I never knew when/if one of the MC’s was going to relapse next.
the conflict between Jake and his brother CJ was so real.
Felix was such a sweet heart - a happy little energizer bunny - but with addiction and will power issues.
Jake and Felix struggled SO HARD. When they were good and happy it was so cute, and I couldn’t stop smiling. But one little slip of a mistake and it was down hill. Both had so many issues to work through.
The LETTER AT THE END. ALMOST ENDED ME.
The minor characters stood out as well - I felt like we still got to know and love them just as easily as we did the MMCs.
Low angst and drama, a cute feel good forbidden hockey romance!
I really do enjoy this authours writing, it flows well and hooks you into the universe quickly.
Leo was a sweetie, a total simp for the coach’s daughter.
Sawyer didn’t deserve West.
Was Wes pining hard and pushy? Yes.
But sawyer rejected him for like 3 years, insisting on being friends, but the moment West tries to move on he is like no ur mine and sabotages dates?? Not cool friend.
West was a sweetie and deserves much better.
This was so cute!!!
While this was very much Archer Holland’s book, I loved how much we saw of Brogan from the past book in this series.
Archer was so protective of Brogan, he was skeptical of Sabrina’s arrival. But when he got his head out of his ass, it was automatic infatuation.
Sabrina was a great FMC. She had her own goals outside of the relationship with Archer.
Really enjoying that holland brothers, and looking forward to next. (Possibly baby holland flynn, and single mom Olivia???)
The concept in the universe was different, it was way more political than I was expecting. I expected a bit but at times it was too much for me. It was very dire and grim.
I don’t think I liked it enough to continue, it wasn’t for me.
