An interesting take on the time travel concept that focuses more on who we are as humans and our relationships with others than just time travel.
I really enjoyed this book and I liked the characters and it made me re-evaluate the relationships I have with others.
I also love the theme of happiness in this book and how people can learn to grow and be happy and not be stuck in one place and change like the seasons do.

The themes?? The parallels?? The motifs??? This is what literature is about baby!!

This book was engaging and interesting and creepy and I loved every minute of it!

This is also a book that I had to sit with for a while bc while the plot is simple there's so much going on that makes you wanna question and analyze everything.

I did also like the pacing of the book going from one characters pov to the next without it being distracting and the villian of the story??? I loved her so much and she did nothing wrong!

The only reason why this is 4.5 and not 5 stars is bc I got lost in some bits. Especially during the scenes where the author would describe the motorcycles and the character playing basketball for pages on it. I understand why he chose to do that but it did confuse me and I wasn't expecting it.

Anyways yeah I would definitely recommend this book to others!

An intense and thrilling ride. The commentary on the publishing industry and the way that white women behave when they feel threatened feels v spot on.
Anyways I hope June chokes!
