🎧 - The path to hell is paved with good intentions. Such a cool idea. Not a huge fan of the end of book 3, but it was an acceptable conclusion.

đź“– - Very exciting with so many twists and turns. I can’t wait to see where it all ends up. Can’t believe this is a debut novel.

🎧 - It was weird for me to have a main character that I didn’t really like. I think she was supposed to be a good person that makes horrendous life decisions, but typically people making decisions this bad aren’t really good people. Good read though.

🎧 - Narrator was excellent. I love a book with realistic military feel. Authentic interaction between personnel and how politics can influence decisions. Sci-fi isn’t overly complex to follow. Really enjoyable.

🎧 - Geez, Cutter can really make you uncomfortable. There are places that live similar to this now. Some countries in the Middle East are under Sharia law, North Korean citizens are “compelled” to rat out family members for crimes against the state. If you aren’t vigilant, this can happen anywhere. Every religion thinks they are the only correct one and the rest shouldn’t exist.

🎧 - Nareator was…ok. It’s been many years since I read The Overton Window, but I don’t remember the political rhetoric being so heavy handed. Lots of books toss their political views into books, but typically can do so by weaving it into the story. Lots of solid information and perspectives in here, but the delivery made it seem like the story was forced around it. Last 20% was fun.
