🎧 - Nareator was…ok. It’s been many years since I read The Overton Window, but I don’t remember the political rhetoric being so heavy handed. Lots of books toss their political views into books, but typically can do so by weaving it into the story. Lots of solid information and perspectives in here, but the delivery made it seem like the story was forced around it. Last 20% was fun.

🎧 - Pretty cool that 8 books in and I’m still really interested. I feel like I know where the story could be headed, and some hopes for that might be too much to ask. Love this series.

🎧 - Some fun revelations about the world. Earth essences felt a little weird but the manifestations are based on environment.

🎧 - The ability upgrades can be a bit much to track. Long and complex, we need character sheets 😂. Very exciting and am excited to see where it’s all going.
