I have no words. There were so many ups and downs, twists and turns, my head was spinning almost the entire time. I had figured out what would happen before I reached the end but honestly I liked that part of it. It added weight to the scenes before it, and gave more emotion to the event.

The only negative I have, and it’s such a small one, is that sometimes Gideon’s way of talking seemed out of place compared to everyone else, but again it was only a minor thing that I could deal with.

Seriously though, as an author I dream of writing something this amazing one day.

I feel like the hype for this one had my expectations too high. I liked the story, but found some parts rushed while other parts dragged on. I was also uncomfortable with the sexual imagery combined with the characters ages. But that could just be my own hang up.

I've read the Percy Jackson books before, and this book was as wonderful and entertaining the second time as it was the first.

I picked up this book knowing nothing about the plot, which made it even more mysterious and crazy. I really enjoyed it.
