Solid book and intro, heard it gets better later on in the series and excited to read more. It does end really abruptly, the main thing holding it back for me is the conflict ending with the main character passing out, then waking up and basically everything worked out . Love the character / internal voice, worldbuldiing is really cool and I love that it's a shorter / quick read.
Perfect comic, perfect use of the medium to tell stories work uniquely well in it. Can't believe I waited this long to read it.
I really loved this book. It really captured something special with creature as metaphor fore feeling trapped. Also, very cute romance story :)
Really tough book to talk about. I respect the dedication to honing in one telling the story of one specific event that got overlooked and framing it as a "footnote' in history. Free Palestine

I really like the way the book is formatted with the stories meeting in the middle, and one or two of them almost work for me but as a whole it didn't really click for me.
