I've been teaching a long while. This book is excellent. Full of clear guides on improving behaviour as well as the science and philosophy behind it. If you know someone going into teaching, buy them a copy

Didn't hold interest, but was well written.

Great book. Read this in about a week. Gerver has loads of great ideas which transformed his school and the lives of the children within his school. Nice to read an education book which isn't just 'This is what we should do' but is 'This is what we did and how well it worked'.

Really enjoyed reading this book. Found out loads of things about Larwood and just how great he was. The Bodyline series plays a key part in the book but doesn't dominate. It's good to know that there was more to Larwood than just the 1932-33 series
