This started out pretty "meh" but ended up being profoundly readable.

I think this is the perfect book. I read it to my grade 2/3 class this year and I only cried twice!

Finally I finished this damn book! This book was DENSE. So wordy, with barely decipherable sentences. If I wasn't so incredibly nostalgic re. the 90's, I would have given it 1 star only. I tried to think of how to read it and enjoy it - maybe try reading only one chapter per month? Then it wouldn't feel like SOOOOO much...?? idk.

This feelgood book has me thinking about it all the time. I learned so much from these little stories filled with facts and quotes mixed with personal stories. I recommend it for anyone who wants an easy, sweet moment with a book 🙂
