Alcoholism, honesty, and the families we’re born into vs. the families we make set in small-town Wisconsin. A very solid read from a local author.

Hogwarts - except instead of a school of magic it’s a secret school that teaches you how to murder the person making your life miserable. I enjoyed the time set at the school and the various lessons that go into making one a well-rounded “deletist,” but the last act playing out each student’s plan to off their tormentor was a bit tedious.
