Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

This book, though utterly amazing, felt like a bit of a let down compared to the first book. The plotline is amazing and constantly keeps you wondering what'll happen next, but doesn't compare that well to Carry On.
The majority of the book takes place across America, where Simon, Baz and Penny are taking a much needed road trip. However, their holiday takes a dangerous turn when they discover that Agatha is in danger and go and rescue her from some power hungry vampires.
The book ends with an epilogue where, before they leave to go home, Penny comes out onto the beach to Baz and Simon and tells them there is trouble at Watford. To me, this was quite a relief as I had felt like the book had left Watford behind and was bordering on leaving the world of mages behind too.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys, well anything, I'd recommend it to anyone ok.

God-dammit just go and read it ok? I don't care if you don't have access to a physical copy- go download it from somewhere. It's so perfect, I read it in half a day. The representation is perfect and honestly so so beautiful, I'm close to crying.
I don't know what else to say to get you to read it tbh.
