Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
I think what I really wanted was a book on hygge and/or instructional manual on how to winter. This is more of a memoir of the writer's experiences.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. One of my favorite books I've read all year. Seriously, can I give a book 7 stars? 5 doesn't seem like enough. Ohh you guys, this book:
- FAKE DATING
- the main couple is so, so cute, I love their story
- background characters are awesome and QUEER
- there's only one bed
- Latina diaspora feels <33333

But the best part of this book, honestly, is how much heart it has. Nati's story is about more than falling in love--it's about finding herself and accepting who she is. Her struggles with her Latinidade rang so true to me, even though our circumstances are different--I was born in the US--her journey still meant so much to me, and it's going to mean so much to so many people. EVERYONE READ IT!!!
